Over 10 years of projects

2020

Mozambique

In March 2020 Acircándonos, in collaboration with TYEFADA and AGAPE, carried out a beautiful project of clown and social circus in this African country.

Health centres, rural schools, primary schools, education centres in slums, disability centres, orphanages, shelters for street children enjoyed our laughter.

At the same time, in the Mafalala district of Maputo, we were able to hold theatre and circus training workshops with the young people of the Local Machaka Association.

Unfortunately, due to the worldwide pandemic caused by COVID-19, our expedition had to return to Spain earlier than planned.

2018

Ethiopia

Project carried out in collaboration with PAYASOS SIN FRONTERAS and the French association TYEFADA during the month of December-January. During this time we were able to intervene in rural schools, orphanages, disability centres, AIDS and tuberculosis centres in the areas of Holeta, Addis Ababa and Walmara, as well as making the population of refugee camps on the border with Somalia laugh.

The experience could not have been more enriching or satisfying . 12,000 people assisted in 29 performances .

2017

Equator

A month-long project, in collaboration with Payasos sin Fronteras and Cooperacion Ecuador, in which our clowns traveled to the provinces of Manabi and Esmeraldas to provide emotional and psychological support to the population devastated by the earthquakes of the previous year. More than 16,000 people were affected.

2015

Sáhara

Project in collaboration with the Town Hall of Leganes (Madrid) during which an expedition of different professionals: artists, educators, nurses, etc. and marched to the Saharawi refugee camps to carry out workshops and performances for the local population.

2014

Peru

This is a one-month project with two locations: Ayacucho and Cusco. Two of the areas of Peru most affected by social inequality, violence and poverty. During this project, between shows and workshops, we reached more than 10,000 people in different contexts: schools, orphanages, shelters and disability centres.

2012

Guinea Bissau

A month and a half project that took five artists from the association to different places in Guinea Bissau, from the capital (Bissau) to small tabancas in the region of Ingoré. On this occasion, in addition to shows, we carried out training workshops in acrobatics, clowning, mime and juggling with different groups of young people and local cultural associations such as "Netos de Bandím".

2010

India

During one month, the artists of the group carried out numerous performances in associations, foundations, schools, shelters and in the streets of some cities and regions of the subcontinent. Our intention was to bring to these children and adults, the circus and the magic that it brings, so that they can enjoy free circus performances made especially for them.

2008

Morocco

The clowns got moving and organized an expedition to Morocco to carry out workshops and shows in the towns of Larache and Tetouan.

The project was focused on the women of those populations and, of course, on the children who gave us their most sincere smiles.
